The Process

The People

Thegoodpeople AB is Swedish Retail Consultancy Company founded in 2012. It is located in the south of Sweden with the principle office in Malmö.

The people behind the company are two ex colleagues Baldvin Georgsson and Geir Herfindal who decided it was time to do business together and start sharing their own retail experience with others. With more than 25 years experience (each) from retailing the ambition was kept high and Thegoodpeople should be able to find solutions to all necessary challenges within the world of retailing.

The services include retail commercial build-ups, concept development and retail technologies. They are carried out by experienced people who have worked with your challenges before in various projects and different situations. They are people who we trust as good professionals and we know they add value to the customers. They are retailers we like working with. Hence most likely others will like working with them too.

Our business is international and we can help retailers throughout the world. Until today we have worked in 30 different countries. We have well established routines, insurances and policies to ensure that we comply with all relevant laws and standards that apply for each country.


Project Audit

Together with the client we are auditing the retailer’s challenge to assure that we are not only doing things right, but also doing the right things. We share our retail project experience to ensure that the retailer will optimise sales during the implementation period. Good planning and preparations will save time during execution, time to start selling!


Communication is key. Our experienced project leaders constantly monitor the progress and remains in constant communication with the client. Not all needs are discovered at first. Therefore it is essential for us to have a good communication throughout the project. And flexibility comes with it. Our multi-talented co-workers do their best to use the time as effective as possible, even when the unexpected happens. 

Project Closure & Evaluation

Once the definition of the scope is reached we evaluate the project internally and together with the client. The evaluation is performed with the aim to to assure that we have reached all our objectives but also for future learning. The learning is passed on to constantly improve our performance. The aim is always a satisfied customer. Today and in the future.
